An upbeat, positive film about a group of women dealing with mid-life and menopause. The women come from a wide range of backgrounds, careers and lifestyles. Some are married; some are divorced. Interviews alternate with sequences showing the women both at home and in the workplace. Based on the women's experiences, the film effectively dispels popular myths and fears about life during and after menopause.

'The Best Day of My Life' is a documentary that follows the lives of six people from different parts of the world (Spain, France, Uganda and Russia) who give testimony of their experiences as people who belong to the LGBT community. They end meeting in Madrid to celebrate the World Pride. They are Abril, Timothée, Ruth, Geena, Max and Nick, and they talk about their experience in their countries of origin, some of them persecute people due to their sexual orientation and gender identity.

Noel Edmonds helps a celebrity recall a magical moment in their life by recreating the month in the year in which it happened. A sort of "Where Are They Now" meets "This is Your Life" - there are interviews with people who were on television or in the news at the time, music from chart toppers, archive film and audio, and, in the last series, surprise reunions of survivors of disasters with their rescuer.

William Saroyan's Pulitzer Prize-winning play revolves around the denizens of a San Francisco bar in 1939. Lonely, lovelorn, weary or cynical, the characters drift in and out of the bar and each other's lives, giving voice to Saroyan's philosophies as they randomly comment about the impending world war, the beauty of art, and traditional notions of good and evil. At least one of the relationships stands a chance of enduring: a brawny innocent named Tom is falling in love with a vulnerable young prostitute named Kitty. Saroyan himself is heard reciting the play's prologue.
